Movie Soundtracks

Post by Mr. Viking »

I'm drinking whiskey because I ran out of beer. I'm listening to the soundtrack to The Lion King. I'm feeling sentimental

very fucking sentimental

The soundtrack to American Beauty by Thomas Newman is fucking amazing. Especially this time of year, perfect Autumn music.

This is the single greatest soundtrack in the history of single greatest soundtracks.itstroo!

All of Alex Cox's movies have had really great soundtracks, in fact. INFACTISAY!

I was watching Guardians of the Galaxy this weekend, and although, I didn't really like a lot of the songs, individually, in the film, as a whole, they made up a great soundtrack. I think that Caddyshack is like this, too. I am not a Loggins & Messina nor a Journey fan, but any time anything from that soundtrack plays and I can identify in the movie, it amuses me.

The track "Blade Runner Blues" from the--natch--Blade Runner soundtrack by Vangelis. It feels like getting dystopically drunk in yesterday's future today.
