The Angry Cactus

Post by Junegoddess »

I like using booze as a mixer. I just created this tonight... so if you don't hear from me for a while, it may be because I've moved to Mexico and am wanted in every state in between.

It's such a beguiling, simple drink. Easy to make, even after a few, which I think is a VERY endearing feature.

The Angry Cactus (inspired by the Brutal Hammer, but taken in a new, southerly direction)

1 shot tequila
1 glass of sweetish white wine (Riesling in this case)
ice

Pour tequila over ice. Let it sit there and think about itself.
Pour wine into wine glass (I actually measured, for the sake of the recipe, 5 ounces)
Strain tequila into wine glass.

Drink.

Repeat.
