Drink of the Week 7/31

Brought to you by the usurping uppity cracker, DDB (as Barca is apparently inburrito). Without further ado:

Clouds Over Moscow

2 parts Vodka
1 part Kahluha
1 part cream

Over a full glass of ice, layer the Vodka then Kahluha. Add the cream when you serve it to your guest, but don't stir. Let the clouds descend over the bejeweled city and watch them consume the smog. Then consume the drink. The liquor will cut through the etheral haze, bringing you peace and joy. If it doesn't, you didn't make it right--kill this one off and make another.

Replace the cream with Bailey's and you have, what we used to call in my college days, a drunkards White Russian.

In fact, what you've posted the recipe for IS a white russian, yet with a different name!

I believe it's called an Iron Butterfly- but for years Roomie, I and a multitude of our friends thought that was a White Russian as well. Apparently it's supposed to be a shot.

I wasn't refering to the Drink, I was refering to the commentary, as opposed to the usual DOTW pundit. But again, no offense, the apprentice never surpasses the Master Plumber.

I do like Steak Tartare, but, if you just pound some ground chuck with a boring old anvil, it's not the same as if you leave the steak under your saddle while invading the Caucauses.

This is the general point I'm trying to make towards this new fangled White Russian, the Cossacks, and the Polish Barca. Wow, a Slavic trifecta!
