2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
3 oz Bacardi Gold Rum
served over ice in an old-fashioned glass
Yes it is a Daiquiri, but damn what a tasty beverage. Has nice smooth bite, and definitely has changed image of the Daiquiri as a girly blended umbrella drink.
When I make my simple syrup, I like to caramelize it just a tad for a extremely smooth taste.
