What's new under the sun? Well, under my cloud, it's this. This recipe came together totally by mistake, and it's so frequin fabulous I still get the wants just writing about it.
DAMIANA MARGUERITA
Get a big glass, salt the outside of the rim if you prefer, fill with ice and then....
Using a really big shot glass....
1 part Yummy Silver Tequila
3/4 part Damiana
1/4 part Orange Booze (Monarch Orange Brandy)
Squeeze 1 to 1.5 fresh oranges into the drink.
Stir
Swoon
Do it over and over again.
What the frock is Damiana? It's an herbal aphrodesiac kind of booze from mexico. I found some stuff on the web that claimed that the first margs were made using Damiana, and not that orange frenchy poo stuff. (So option 3a is to omit the 1/4 part orange booze and use 1 part Damiana). I think the brides mom gives Damiana to the groom to ensure a big family. An interesting flavor all on it's own, it's astonishingly good in this marg.
I don't think it makes me any hornier than I already am, but it does have an amazing affect on me... it drunks me make! Whoda thunk? Gosh!
