Here's my new recipe for the day. One bag of frozen cranberries, one bag frozen peach slices.
Dump the frozen cranberries in a small pot, cover with water plus one inch of water, and boil for about ten minutes. Make sure the skins of the cranberries burst.
Dump the pot into a large pickle jar, like a half-gallon sized jar. Glass, no plastic. Dump in the berries and the water, there's lots of cranberry goodness in there.
Dump in the frozen peach slices and mix it up real nice so the mixture cools off a little and the peaches thaw.
Top off the jar with your favorite 180 proof vodka and leave it on the windowsill to macerate for a week or so.

Sip
Cranberry/peach goodness abounds. Even better when cut with a little tonic water and/or limeade.
