Trivia!

Two pitchers were active in Major League Baseball during the 1990s (though not necessarily only in the 1990s). Including thumbs, these two pitchers had a combined six right digits. Who were these two pitchers?
I'm guessing jim abbott and..... someone w/ six digits..

Alright, touche on the pictures. You don't really think that A-Rod got as much criticism for using steroids as Bonds did though, right? A cover on the gossipy NY-centered Post isn't the same as all the criticism from the sports world, like Sports Illustrated covers, a bestselling book all about his steroid use, shit like this, etc. A-Rod definitely gets criticized harshly every time he hits into a double play in October, but the general sports world isn't calling him a cheater or questioning whether he should be allowed in the Hall of Fame.

I think you're probably right about Bonds' personality being the reason people don't like him, and I think that's pretty sad. I wish that fans who think he's an asshole would just call him an asshole- not try to use it to discredit the entire career of one of the most successful in baseball. I could think of a lot of things about other players that are all more undesirable than Bonds being a dick to the media; like A-Rod's pitch-tipping I mentioned earlier, or the fact that Roger Clemen's hosted a party where a girl was given a near-fatal dose of GHB and then raped by his personal trainer. Reggie Jackson and Jim Rice were pretty big assholes too. But this is baseball, not a reality show. People should focus on what players accomplish on the field. In most other cases, they do.

Go into the nearest sports bar and bring up Barry Bonds and see how fast somebody brings up steroids. Then bring up the 2004 World Series when the Red Sox broke the curse and see if anybody uses any words like "cheaters".

He's way up there on my list too, because he never slumped at all. Every single season he played was Hall of Fame worthy. The only other person to have a perfect career like that has been Pujols.

Gotta be Antonio Alfonseca from the Phillies. He has six fingers and six toes on both hands and feet.

Yeah on second thought that's probably not a good idea. Thinking about the 2004 postseason would probably bring back an avalanche of nightmares for any Yankees fan.

Every team steals signs.. Last year in the playoffs, there was a youtube of Mauer being ridiculously obvious about it (copyright infringement had it deleted).. But because he's not a-rod, it wasn't blow out of proportion..

Bonds was a dick, not just to the media.. Great player, yes, possibly the greatest.. But there's no question in my mind that he juiced.. If you've ever seen people that have gained muscle mass by roiding, their face becomes rounder and chubbier ala Clemens.. I'd put him in the hall of fame as a novelty right next to the Black Sox scandal team and George Brett's pinetar bat..

You don't know the half of it. This pic is from the night that blasted team won it all, and I had the unfortunate duty of hosting that Brady-fellating Ruiner:

I'm not talking about just stealing signs when he's a baserunner at second, I'm talking about tipping pitches to the other team. Like when the Rangers were blowing out the opposing team and A-Rod had a friend that was up at bat, he'd signal the pitches to the batter to help the guy inflate his hitting numbers, in spite of his own pitcher. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/b ... index.html

You were right about the Bonds/Sports bar thing. I brought up Bonds and the hall of fame to my bartender Ty ( we're watching pre-season ) baseball at the airport bar, the first words out of the guy sittin' next to me was "yeah, not with all those steroids!".
