meh. The Saints are a great story and all that crap. But I'm backing teabagger and the Colts all the way to my bookie's bank. as long as it stays under 7. which it will.

I sure wouldn't. Unless your name is Trent Dilfer, a run-first offense isn't going to win you a Super Bowl. It's especially ineffective when your team falls behind like the Jets did. A West Coast offense has a pretty good track record at winning championships, to say the least.

I saw that my book had the Saints getting 6 and I almost jumped on it, but then I looked and saw that the average spread in Vegas is 4.5 with 71% of the money going to the Colts right now. They're going to be really hesitant to bump the line up to 7 but I'm going to wait it out and see.

I bet it gets there.

We have a tv channel here in Belgium, called ESPN America, and we get to watch plenty of NFL games live. I watched the Packers @ Cardinals and the Jets @ Colts games recently. Oh my, these were great games. I look forward to watching the Superbowl, although it will be hard to explain to the Mrs what I'am doing from 12 to 4 am downstairs, but hell ya, I'll be there, enjoying a nice Belgian beer.

Oh, it's a Saints strokefest, even around here - all the Purdue alum are HUGE Brees fans. I really wish Favre would have skipped ahead a few yards instead of throwing to the middle like a dipshit . . . it would have been much more satisfying beating him in the SB.

Sounds like Kurt Warner is going to end his Hall of Fame career today. Matt Leinart has said that he plans to continue his hot tub career.
I'll miss you, pallie.

Yeah...somehow I don't think throwing an INT that possibly cost his team a trip to the Super Bowl is how Brett Favre wants to go out.

Yeah, that was exactly how his Green Bay career ended playing the Giants in the 07 playoffs, and we all know how long that retirement lasted. I don't really care about Brett Favre coming back or not though. Kurt Warner retiring makes the Niners a shoo-in for the playoffs.

Brett's last pass attempt with the Packers resulted in an interception.

Brett's last pass attempt with the Jets resulted in an interception.

Brett's (probably) last pass attempt with the Vikings resulted in an interception.

I'd say he's used to it by now.
