So a big Fuck You to the NFL if the uncapped season goes through ...

It'll be just like baseball with 3 teams dominating

You'll have your New York Yankees (Cowboys)
Your Red Sox (Patriots)
Your Mets (Giants)

The final 8 teams can only sign a free agent if they lose a free agent so the Cowboys aren't able to do much. Plus, I heard that they are in so much debt from the new stadium that they don't have a ton of money to spend anyway. And a lot of guys that were going to be unrestricted free agents will be restricted free agents and teams are going to have more tags to put on players. From the way I understand it there actually won't be a ton of spending.
I'll miss you, pallie.

Well, the Jones/Phillips/Romo Cowboys crashed and burned (naturally), ha-ha.

But now it's up to the Saints to keep Favre out of another Super Bowl. Brett completed only 15 passes against Dallas -- but 4 of them were TDs.

Actually, the cost overruns on JerryWorld were not covered by the Cowboys organization, but by Jerry personally. And Jerry can afford that.

Nobody was hitting the bottle harder than Nick Kaeding last night. Either that or looking for his next job.

"Wanna spice up a boring Sunday? Bet double your net worth on a football game." --Artie Lange

I just put my bet in for New York +8. I had to get my money in before this got steamed down to 7, or god forbid 6.5. I see Indianapolis winning by a field goal in a low-scoring game. I'm not gonna touch New Orleans -4.

I went 1-1 last weekend, losing my Ravens bet and winning with the Jets. Due to Bodog's rapist vig I still lost $43.

Thank you Minnesota Vikings. Yes, thank you.

You did I, and the country, dare I say the world, afterall is not the NFL popular worldwide? Yes, you did millions, if not billions of people all across the world a wondorous joy when you, what's it called? Biatchslapped? Reamed? Bent them over and prison bitched them?

Yes, that'll do. Lose to the saints, thats ok. You've done your duty. And we all salute you.
Getting drunk was good. I decided that I would always like getting drunk. It took away the obvious and maybe if you could get away from the obvious often enough, you wouldn't become obvious yourself - Bukowski

How about the NBA? The Lakers and Celtics combined have won over 50% of the championships.

If the Colts can't cover a 7 point spread against the Jets (I bought a half point), then I know nothing about anything.

I believe the Jets defense is capable of keeping M*anning from going wild. The real game should be rookie QB Sanchez and the Jets' offense versus the Colt's defense -- that seems like the X-factor to this game.

I agree Peetie. Much is said about the Jets D, and while the Colts secondary is nothing great, their D line is one of the fastest in the league led by Freeney. Supposedly, he is hell one on one with tall offensive linemen and Sunday he'll be going against the 6 foot 6 inch D'Brickasaw Ferguson. Advantage Freeney. (and yes, there actually is a guy with a first name D'Brickasaw)

As a Jets fan, one thing I've noticed is while their defense blitzes a lot, they don't actually sack the QB very often. Peyton seems to never get sacked, so the best I think these blitzes will do is confuse( I can only hope) the 4 time MVP.

As for Sanchez, a lot of people questioned how he would respond if he threw an INT in the playoffs, because for him, in the regular season, if he threw one, he threw three. Well, he bounced back against the Chargers after throwing one by finding Keller in the end zone last week, which of course is a good sign. I hope he can continue this poise.

Last but not least, GO JETS!!!!!!!
