If Stafford throws anywhere near as many interceptions next season as he did last, then at some point they're going to realize they've got a guy on the bench who threw a total of two picks last year.
Dude...

INTs and QB rating mean nothing on a 2-30 (for the last two seasons) team. You're dissing a guy who got the league's all-time, highest-ever rookie salary, while joining history's first 0-16 NFL team.

As long as Martin Mayhew breathes air as DtL's GM (and providing that Matt Stafford exists as a living, breathing human) the kid from U of Georgia will be the Lions' #1 QB.

I think Crabtree's rookie year was even a little underrated considering he missed all of the pre-season and a quarter of the regular season, and how good the rest of the receiver class was. Once he bulks up and stops getting bumped off his routes he's gonna be a beast- the kid's got hands. I think of it as another nail in Al Davis' coffin every time he makes a completion. Crabtree had better games than Heyward-Bey's whole season.

And the best part of drafting him were the t-shirts that came out while they were waiting for him to sign that said "We may not have Crabs but we've still got VD."

Gotta agree w/ Peetie on the Stafford thing.. That team really stinks; I just hope he doesn't end up being another David Carr..

Everything I'm reading from scouts regarding Dez Bryant is that he's even better than Crabtree, yet most project him going 10th pick or higher..

Nope, Shaun Hill will at one time be the starter for Detroit.

Agree.. Stafford will get hurt behind that hodge-podge o-line and w/ NO running game..

Apparently the Cowboys have an interest in Dez Bryant.. I guess they didn't learn enough from Pacman Jones..

Haha no way. Maybe eight years ago. At this point I think Alex Smith is even better than he is.

1st off, I think Shaun Hill will be better than Stafford for the Lions. They need a whole new team, really.
2nd, I want to make sure it is noted that McNabb may have said in the beginning that he wants a ring, but when told he could have been a 49er, he said he would have loved that more than the Redskins. We just didn't want him. I wasn't in the picking, of course. I would have loved to have McNabb for a year. Abso-fucking-lutely.

Cool the Eagles have to come into the Stick in Week 5. I've gotta buy my tickets. Afterall we can't forget this incident. Unfortunately for visiting Eagles fans, it doesn't snow here.

The description of that video says "The Philadelphia Eagles fans let two misguided 49ers supporters know what its like in our house." To return the kind favor, I'd like to let any misguided Eagles supporters know what it's like in our house:

Candlestick Park

You can see why matters in the stands rarely become the focus of the event.

Well what did you expect this thread to be about when you read the title? On my computer you have to actually click on a thread in order for it to open.
