Germany put a whipping on the Aussies. 4-0.

Gotta love all these wannabe trendy bandwagoners thinking that the world cup is the greatest sporting event.. Ask the fools to name 3 players on the US team that they are rooting for without looking at the tv.. Yeah, that's what I thought..

Now give me that remote..

All this friendly "draw" shit would never fly in real American sports.

It's just like the Olympics. Suddenly people are incredibly interested in dozens of sporting events they have never before watched and will only watch again in four years.

If you watch soccer all year - Good for you, enjoy this. If you don't, stop being a douche.

Yeah, after the round-robin group stage though there are no more draws. Extra-time and penalties will decide it.

As a football fan, even I have to admit so far it has been pretty boring....but stick with it!

They should just skip the round-robin stage. Up to now, nothing but boring games (except the Germans, who have not been in such a great shape in 70 years).

Argentina looked good today. Their weak link has got to be the manager though. It's only a matter of time before Maradona does something nuts or gets sent off from the bench...

So glad I managed to get a job to fit around the World Cup. Drunk at 2:30 on a Thursday!

I know the whole Downfall parody thing has been done to death, but I actually found this one quite funny!

That's brilliant. France is all but finished. Might have to start rooting for Mexico, they have one of Arsenal's strikers on their team at least.
Be safe everyone.

I wouldn't rule out France just yet. Mexico was a shocker but you could turn it around...

USA: population 307 million
Slovenia: population 2 million

Come on Slovenia!

Screw you, Tomodon! USA! USA! We win tomorrow 2-0.

And this sucks - I'm off tomorrow, but can't stay up as late as I want, because if I do, I'll miss the Germany game at 7 AM. But on the plus side, I get to wake up and start drinking.

It's currently Slovenia 2-2 USA at 83 minutes! If they draw and we beat Algeria then it will be good for us. I have my beer ready for the match this evening...
