Really? No one has started this yet? Fuck... the yanks and brits are still in it and facing off tomorrow.

World Cup 2010
Be safe everyone.
Re: World Cup 2010
heh, yeah, viva la Francais that just drew 0-0 to Uraguay...
I like the fact that soccer is becoming a bit more popular in America. However, anything less than a win for England tomorrow will be a big upset!

Re: World Cup 2010
I'm going to give soccer and the World Cup an honest try this go around starting with USA's match with England. However, I'll walk away from soccer for good if I watch a 3+ hour match that ends in a 0-0 tie.
Re: World Cup 2010
Today there's a Yankees game on the tv and the us-England match at the same time. Too many choices.
Drink your fucking drink, how about that? Stop the fuckin' presses, isn't it genius??

Re: World Cup 2010
It may be un-American to say this, but I hate watching baseball on TV. And I won't even bad-mouth the Yankees. Baseball is a boring game with occasional moments of excitement, plus lots of commercials. Soccer can be boring as well, but has fewer commercials. The Argentina - Nigeria game today was fairly entertaining, even though it finished 1-0.Mayhem wrote:Today there's a Yankees game on the tv and the us-England match at the same time. Prediction for the USA-England game is 1-1.

Re: World Cup 2010
I was right with the score, but I could have stopped the US goal. Even with my elevated BAC, I could have stopped that.

I've seen roadkill that could have stopped that goal.

Yeah, I was going to but then thought, on this board, everyone probably thinks...methfront wrote:Really? No one has started this yet?

Thought it might be a draw though. Both teams should probably get through to the next round. Hopefully, England finish top of the group so we don't play Germany and, inevitably, lose on penalties. Loving the excuse, if we needed one, to drink every day as well...
