Re: NCAA Football 2010
Virginia Tech +1.5
I'll probably take them on the money line too as soon as my book posts it. Boise beating Oregon last year was the best thing to happen to betting against them because now every square actually believes Boise is among the top three teams in the country.

Re: NCAA Football 2010
I've got alot of games to get through before that Va Tech-Boise game on Monday.
I'll post my thoughts later on that one.
I like the under in the Pitt-Utah game because it's the first game of the season and both teams may be sloppy. Pitt will run run run, chew up clock and as a result I think the total will stay under. They are breaking in a new QB, have an inexperienced O-line and they have all the pressure associated with high expectations this year. I'm not buying into the Pitt hype. Also never been a big fan of Dave Wannstedt.
Utah very tough at home. Only returning 4 starters on defense, that kind of worries me. Utah soph QB Jordan Wynn showed lots of promise last year in the Fiesta Bowl so hopefully he picks up where he left off. So I'm laying the 3 and backing the Utes.

Uh oh. I made the mistake of mentioning on Facebook that I was surprised that Cincinnati were underdogs (since they opened as favorites and got steamed all the way down to +2.5) and I think I lost half of my friends on there. I root for Fresno State as much as everyone else around here but at least I can acknowledge when they're playing a better team.

Well I'm already in the red today. At this point it's just a matter of how much.
Oregon's up 72-0 with half a quarter still left to play
