Any fanbase that can't be bothered to show up before the 4th inning or stay past the 7th deserves whatever shitty thing happens to their franchise. Dodgers fans don't care about baseball. I'd be shocked if even 50% of the people I see wearing Dodgers hats around my city could name the team's starting rotation. People seem to have reasons to spend a lot of money on a bunch of LA gear, but none of it has to do with the sport of baseball.

It's kind of like Raiders fans who own every piece of merchandise and yet don't really follow football so every game in Oakland is blacked out. In fact, it's a lot of the same people in both fanbases.

I can dig wear you're coming from, you being a NYer and all, and say what you wish about the current Dodgers' mess (ownership, fans), but the Los Angeles Dodgers were the first team to break the 3,000,000 people mark for paid attendance in a season and were averaging 3mil paid attendance before many (if not most) teams had hit that mark once.
