Years ago when I would still get bombed and travel around I would oft times end up at The fambly Diner, open 24 hours, East end of town. One night I stumble in there and as soon as I sit at the counter they are bringing the guy next to me this plate of breakfast. It was immaculate. Two eggs, two biscuits, two slices of bacon, two sausage links, scattered hash browns, all covered in gravy.
I said "Ooohhh"
waitress said "you want the what Cecil is havin?
I was like "Uuuhhhhhhhhhhh Bring me the Cecil plate."
I fucking devoured that shit
I try to recreate the Cecil Plate many a Sunday morn, now that I stay in more and The Fambly Diner was shut down by the health dept,

I could only dream we were having the Cecil platter AND the Savage French toast but pretty sure ours will involve some sort of "wurst" to my disdain. I miss 'Muurican brunch like Bloody Mary's, white sausage gravy, lox on a bagel, eggs Benedict...

Is there anyplace that does breakfast buffets anymore? Kinda disgusting and yet, after a night of drinkin' I would tear that up, no question!

My buddy StumblingDug and I met up for dinner a week or so ago at Frische's Big Boy. They had "Brupper" going on - breakfast bar at dinner time. Full bar with bacon and eggs and gravy and all the shit. dude it was a welcome surprise.

The Paul Bunyan Breakfast: 3 eggs, 4 bacon, 4 ham, 2 pancakes, country potatoes, home fries or hash browns and a tall Bloody Mary.

I made oett a kind of a Mexican ranchero style steak n' fried eggs and a stuffed poblano pepper with sauce, along with some pinto beans with fresh jalapeños. He was stoked to wake up to it after drinking all night on Skype with some of y'all.

My ideal brunch: 4 fried chickens and a Coke.
