The only pickled product I can stand is me.
The cabin sits shut-down, cold-frozen and empty, dead mice in the traps, waiting for me to drink alone there in the dark.

Sometimes, we make a dinner of bar-type food. But it always involves stuff like bacon, potatoes, chilies, cheese, and other real-life foods.

Hey that movie was actually pretty good!
No I'm not brave enough to eat that shit, having an upset stomach is one of the things that pisses me off the most.

We make our own pickled beets and eggs out this way. As for the prepackaged stuff, not so much.

Re: dive bar foods
My best friend and I made it our mission to find the worst bar in our city one summer.
Shortly after visiting one bar a man was stabbed to death there. Sadly, that didn't seem like the worst one. The worst one was located on a very bad street, was the size of a living room and had these wrinkly hot dogs spinning around... I was brave enough to be a in a bar where people die but I wasn't brave enough to try that dirty dog.

I'll eat home-made picked eggs, but I can't bring myself to trust in the grimy briny jar of horrors I see at the bar. Maybe it's delicious, but I'll never know.

Re: dive bar foods
was at a bar last night and their cooler was full of water bottles, red bull and chocolate bars.
As I see hear most drunks lose their sweet-tooth and develop a bacon-tooth, but I really wanted a chocolate bar, bad. I must be menstruating.

Re: dive bar foods
I routinely eat the pickled eggs and turkey gizzards at the Oleander a fantastic dive bar and one of the few in town that actually have the some of the classic bar foods. I once ate a dozen of the eggs in ten minutes on a bet or dare of some sort. The circumstances are a bit fuzzy but that's what happens there.

Went to a dive the other day only to find out that they were all out of wagyu. Wound up eating about 6 pounds of Almas caviar on hoagie wit cheeze.
I'll miss you, pallie.

Yes, like a drunken Cool Hand Luke. Apparently Barca was there. Roomie showed up later, it would appear the resultant stench was considered a form of cock-blockery.
