I'd stick it in the oven for about 6 hours at about 300 degrees F, in a big pot with a load of golden syrup, soy sauce, spring onions, plenty of ginger, a bit of fresh red chilli, some whole garlic cloves, some crushed garlic too, and top up with water if it dries out too much. Serve it on boiled rice with peas and boiled carrots through it, or a load of roasted root vegetables

Low. 12 hours. Shoulder on the bone. Dice onions, celery, carrots. Add Chicken Buillion cube. Get high off of the delicious smells.

either way, it was a tremendous success. rather than actual pulling with the forks and all, it was really just gently pushing the back of a large spoon onto the roast and watch it collapse into tender goodness. mmm..... homemade carolina sauce and cole slaw finished it all off.
