My thoughts exactly, parasite. Drink when you drink, eat when the crumbs fall like the rest of us.peetie44 wrote:

Re: Bourbon Pancakes
No. and for all the sceptics of booze cooking I give you: vodka sauce and chicken marsala.

I have tried this with makers mark but sadly two great things combined do not always make an even greater thing.

Re: Bourbon Pancakes
The last time we were out at the cabin I substituted beer and home made Kaluha for water in the pancake mix.
The beer made the pancakes really fluffy (carbonation?), and the home made Kaluha (VERY sweet) added a nice flavour.
I thought it worked out rather well.

The cabin sits shut-down, cold-frozen and empty, dead mice in the traps, waiting for me to drink alone there in the dark.

Re: Bourbon Pancakes
Make the pancakes regular, but whip some bourbon in the maple syrup. And add some bourbon to your hot chocolate. After consuming, love your special one and then take a 3 hour nap. That is a good kind of Sunday.
