They have these at Nord's Bakery (run by the family of my fifth grade math teacher) except theirs' is a strip of bacon.

Same 2 to 5 depending on how hammered I am while cooking. More hammered 5 less hammered 2.

A bit of spicy oil or truffle oil to start. then the follow up batches in the combined grease of the ones before.
