I'll get right on that. Shall we all meet there for an early dinner?Merchant Seaman wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 12:33 pmIf you want good F&C or other seafood
Try Little Chinook's at Fishermen's Terminal in Seattle, better yet just walk over to The Highlinner.

Nice simple menu. I can't imagine how amazing the F & C's are, but I'm all about the crispy oysters. Prawns too.Merchant Seaman wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 12:33 pmIf you want good F&C or other seafood

Okay, cod vs. haddock. I could go either way really. Just as long as the batter is done right.
Yeah, I’d take a trip to Seattle just for the seafood, let alone the rest of the eating and drinking and smoking.

Re: Fish n' Chips
^ ^ ^ I would totally try halibut. I'm into the white fish, that is why in my previous post I am a tad skeptical about salmon F & C. But I noticed it was on the Chinook's menu too and I trust that the Pacific Northwest and Canada know their shit with fish recipes so it must be good. In the quote from mistah willies in the first post of this thread, he mentioned flounder. I dunno why but something about flounder just doesn't sound enticing but I would try it.
There was this place I went to many years ago in Hawaii that offered Ahi (yellowfin tuna), Ono (wahoo mackerel), and Mahi-Mahi (dolphin fish) as options for their F & C. Absolutely amazing. I think the bottom line is, I doubt one can go wrong with any fish n' chips. I'd even take some catfish.
