Nay to nth power!
I had an aunt that loved mayo and banana sandwiches. When I asked her why?!? she said it was because her grandma would make her peanut butter, mayo and banana sandwiches when she was little. And which of those three ingredients did my aunt have a problem with? So her grandma dropped the PB. I was very close to my aunt and I still miss her...but the woman was nuttier than squirrel shit.

OK

Get some;
pretzel buns
Some precooked jimmy dean sausages
uncured smoked ham
provolone
spicy mustard
pickled onion

Place two or three sausage patties on a plate, nuke them for 30-40 seconds, while that's happening, slap some mustard on a pretzel roll, put a slice or so of ham on each side of your roll, take the sausages out of the nuker, nuke the two halves of the roll with the ham and mustard for 20-30 seconds, put the sausage patties on the lower roll, slap some provolone on top of the patties, nuke until cheese melts, take out of the nuker, throw some pickled onion on your sammy.

Put the top bun on, crack a beer, eat the sandwich and drink the beer, when done eating put the plate in the sink, chug at least three more brews, then finish with a shot of the Whiskey of your choice.

I'm down with this for sure, except the pickled onion...I try and I try when it comes with my food but always ultimately end up picking it off. But I'd try. Again. I do eat a lot of raw onion however.

See I'm down with the naner n' PB. Even "Elvis" style with some bacon in the mix. Toast it all up like a grilled cheese where the PB is all melted and that would be a hella yay. But the mayo and banana? Nope. Can't do it. And I like mayo. But still can't do it. Nay.

There was this Chinese buffet I used to go to that had banana slices sitting in what I assume was sweet n' sour sauce. It was surprisingly good and got a few every time to add to my massive pile of fried foods. There are some banana risks I am willing to take. Grilled banana with butter and cinnamon is another one of them.

Bananas do not belong in sandwiches. There, I said it.

Interesting.

Johnsonville started making "sausage strips". It’s shaped like bacon but tastes like sausage and it also comes in chorizo flavor. So I recently made myself a club sandwich using this new, miracle sausage substance. And it was quite good. It really jibed with the cheddar and smoked turkey, and makes me wonder about it’s potential for further sandwich applications.

You know what I think doesn't belong on sandwiches? Mac n' cheese. I'm so over this. I also don't want an egg on my burger. On my breakfast sandwich, fine. But stop with the eggs and mac n' cheese on burgers. It's overkill.

But what about hamburger/eggs in mac n' cheese?

I've taken a hamburger pattie, no bun, and dumped mac n' cheese on top of it. That wasn't half bad. Scrambled eggs in the macaroni was pretty good. But yeah putting mac and cheese on the burger in the bun, I could do without that. But the egg on top ties the breakfast burger together.
