A seafood chimichanga from Cajun Phatty's, stuffed with crawfish, shrimp, and cajun rice, topped with avocado sauce, secret sauce, sour cream, pico, and a fried shrimp. This needs to make an entrance into my life. And what, is that crab drizzled on top?!

Re: Random food stuffs - Fries/Chips!

New and improved fry/chip selection. Of course I'd eat all of 'em. Well, the sweet potato not so much. But top choices would be waffle and Belgian. With about a hundred different dipping sauces on the side.

You know, what are called "tornado potatoes" or "spiral cuts" are pretty damn good. They combine the best attributes of the French fry with the crispness and flavor of a potato chip.

What also deserves mention: the seasoning. It could be simple salt, seasoned salt or even a very pungent black truffle salt. But there are also botanical garnishes such as parsley, chive and- but, of course- garlic. Limitless combinations and possibilities exist for something as simple and humble as the fried potato.

Hard to beat a batch of steak fries, wedges, curly fries or tots.
Part of me wishes I liked sweet potato fries more. I prefer my yams baked or mashed.

Where’s Oettinger on that list? His head is kind of a potato, and he fries it in vodka every weekend.

All spices matter. But Lawry's just does it for me. It livens up any style of potato.

There's a knock-off Taco Bell chain in the Midwest called Taco John's and they have these flat tater-tots called Potato Olés that one could order as a side item with some queso sauce to dip them in. (Or get them as nachos -totchos- even better). They had Lawry's seasoning sprinkled on them and then combined with with their surface area of crispiness from being flat and then dip it in queso...a magical experience. From here on out, no potato can live in my world without Lawry's. ***not sponsored.

Hardee's/Carl's JR. call them hashrounds and Ore Ida calls the potato crowns. Either way they are banging with sausage gravy dumped over them.

Si! I might have to pick up some tacos today.

Im thinking of giving this new hole-in-the-wall place a try. Can’t be any worse than Taco Bell, right?

Remember, the sketchier the neighborhood the better the tacos.
