Finally off for the weekend and what better way to spend the day than with some Gentlemans Jack. However, I do not want to mess up the top portion ...any ideas ?

What you'll need for that "Gentleman" (no such thing from Tennessee) Jack is a two litre of BigK cola, some crushed ice and a styrofoam cup. Then you're set to while away the night watching Canadian Football League in the candlelight.

Is the boycott even worth it, these days?
I mean, TJD is shit... it wasn't good when they were 86 proof, and certainly not now. I wouldn't drink it either way.
However, a dozen or so diehards clinging to a boycott on moral objection? The boycott got us a lot of publicity, and a lot of new members, but where are they now? It's dead. Dead, dead, dead. Looking back, we should have taken it further. The JD ban, and I stress this as someone who would never drink it because it tastes like shit anyways, should be over.

I guess it's the principle. I've purchased TJD since learning of the ban, when on airplanes or pop-up bar situations where the selection is slim. I mean, what am I gonna do? NOT drink whiskey? Not on your life.Rooster wrote:Is the boycott even worth it, these days?

But I still don't buy it or other Brown-Forman stuff in the stores. Am I going to change anything? Unlikely, but my integrity remains (somewhat) un-tarnished.
