After reading a million references to it on here, I finally gave in during my weekly liquor store run today and grabbed a bottle. I expect to plow through it some fine evening this week.

So what do you guys do with it? Neat? Rocks? Coke?

I'm normally not much of a spiced rum man (molasses, yeast, water and some well-charred oak is all I need), so I thought I'd get some recommendations from the many Jerryheads hereabouts.
the best way to drink is by
yourself
in a small room
with the door closed
preferably at night.
you have the drink,
you have yourself.
lift that drink within the walls,
put it to your lips
and have it.
this is the
universe.

Spiced rums - try em straight first. A shot if you like. Or on ice. Get a handle on the flavors. Gosling's Black was one I never liked to dilute with anything. Cap'n Morgan...well, he's OK but you can mix it.

Start small and get plowed from there.

That's what I call Drunkard justice. I hate prisses like that. They're mincing their way through life when they should be marching. ~fkr.

I wish i could find me a woman who drinks!~ruiner..on lack of women drinkers.

Rocks. You can mix with coke but it's really very sweet all by it's self.

Yea. Liz and I have done quite a few shots of SJ together. Of course, she didn't stay awake long enough to feel the effects.
