Eye Opener

Post by seandb8 »

Is it technically an eye opener if you never closed your eyes?

It's a bit before 6 am, and these screwdrivers with a splash of mountain dew are tasting heavenly. I may mix in some red bull, which would probably qualify the drinks as eye keeper-openers, wouldn't you think? Have slept sparingly the last few days....choosing the right pedigree and strength of drink throughout a true multi-day 'bender' is like playing a piano. When done properly, and everything falls into place, it can truly be a thing of beauty. An improperly timed flat, however, can ruin the whole thing.

That said, is there anyone in Athens, GA who'd like to get together for some 'bender'-grade eggs and grits for breakfast?

AAAAAHHH the eye opener...

Post by NYDingbat »

The staving off the well deserved hangover of the night before, the optimism one has for the day ahead, the eye opener is a valuable friend. And what are my fellow drunkards enjoying? I've got the ol' standby of Smirnoff O and club. I may move to sangria this afternoon. If I can still move.

Damn but my AV doesn't represent how obnoxiously auburn I've dyed my hair. And now it's half down my back. Time for an update, yes?

I most certainly am not! Hair wise I am almost auburn Ann Coulter - without the Adam's apple. PM for numbers if you think you can handle the R droppin' Bronx rasp! I have faith in you.

Will do, will do. But right now I have to walk outside and fetch my kids. Sorry, NYDingbat, I'm such a responsible drunkard.

Admirable, sir. We'll chat later when they're safe and sound.

Trying to decide if I should get drunk on this fine Monday holiday...I just dread the Monday (in this case tuesday) hangovers. It's as if all the hangovers from the previous days join forces to attack you on the first day of the workweek. It's tough to deal with and depressing as hell...

Riddeford: I'm craving indian food. WTF?
Fiyah: Fuck curry. We're doing shots and do them NOW

<@Veen> First one was just a standard hangover puke.
<@Veen> Second one was when I was at lunch with my ex and had some ham that was way too dry.
<@Veen> Third one was just a bit ago when I read that vagina story.

Who are you trying to convince?

Once I found some shoes I decided to get a lot of beer. I'll be hurting tomorrow but that's the way it is. Cheers you glorious drunks!

I have recently discovered the wild world of hair dye. Most of my hair fell out, so I decided to superbleach the remaining strands, so when I don't wear my scarf, I look all California girl. Then I realized that I most resemble some fat cooking guy on TV. Life stinks, and then you don't die. Damn!

I occasionally go for the eye opener, usually a shot of vodka while my morning coffee brews. Helps relax me and clear the mind. Once in a while I'll have a bottle of Sam Adams while cooking some eggs and bacon..

An eye opener should also be strong enough to get the old heart kicking. I go for a double shot of vodka.
