"Viaguara" 700ml
Apparently the label claims to be the first mixture of brazilian guarana with (in much smaller letters) exclusive polish spirit ( translation generic vodka they usually sell under a different brand name, Polmos makes great vodka!)
Thought i'd get it for use in mixed drinks and hate red bull, burn, etc Bought a bottle for like 42z(like 12.50 or so in dollars) and was labeled as higher then the cash register ringed it up for. Thought i'd give it a whirl =/ Looked like it wasn't a big seller on the shelf; guess polish people aren't into weird vodka concoctions since you can buy a liter of zubrowka, luksowa for the similar cost. Might try it later but was wondering if anyones got any info on it.
And for a weird totally uselss fact about Guarana here goes! Thanks Wikipedia!!!!
Guarana plays an important role in Tupi and Guaraní Brazilian culture. According to a myth dating back to the Sateré-Maué tribe, guarana's domestication originated with a deity killing a beloved village child. In order to console the villagers, a more benevolent god plucked the left eye from the child and planted it in the forest, resulting in the wild variety of guarana. The god then plucked the right eye from the child and planted it in the village, giving rise to domesticated guarana.
Anyone tried Viagura alcohol?
