Being in college it is not often that I get to spoil myself, but last weekend I picked up two bottles of classic stoli and I was amazed at how smooth it was and the fact that after a few drinks the next morning I did not suffer from any hangover what so ever. Now in order to not break the bank, does anyone know of cheaper alternatives that leave you hangover free after about 8-9 mix drinks?
Thanks

Vodka is for women and communists. The only acceptable reason for drinking it is poverty.

Re: Vodka Suggestions
The local Grocery Outlet is running a special on a Vodka called Parliament from Russia. It's $10.99/liter. It's supposedly milk purified, I have no idea what that entails except it's supposed to remove the impurities. And remove them it does. This is easily the smoothest Vodka I've ever experienced.
Re: Vodka Suggestions
I choose Gordon's citrus flavor...it mixes better with OJ or cranberry...It is 10.99..I have drank it on school nights and had no prob the next day...

Re: Vodka Suggestions
I recommend New Amsterdam Gin.
But if you must really go with teh vodka, i suggest Svedka. Cheaper than stoli but pretty much just as good.
Never ever go to the Grey Gooose (or vodka over $25), big time waste of money.

Wybrowa is good.
Vodka is only girlie if not drunk neat. Donot bother with shots, the bottle is good enough or a rocks glass full.

Drunk? I'm not drunk! You wouldn't dare accuse me of that if I was s0ber!

If you can find it Dripping Springs Vodka is the best I have ever had.
and I'm not saying that because they are a local distillery and nice folks to boot.

Thanks for the reply's as for Vodka being a weak drink, what about Crown Royal and Ginger Ale?
Re: Vodka Suggestions
Crown Royal I do not like. I find it to be Whiskey-flavored water.findboozenow wrote:Thanks for the reply's as for Vodka being a weak drink, what about Crown Royal and Ginger Ale?

Re: Vodka Suggestions
I have friends who mix Ginger Ale with Jameson, but what else can Ginger ale mix good with the only thing I knew of for certain was Crown Royal.
Re: Vodka Suggestions
Very cheap Whiskey mixes well with ginger. Crown Royal costs too damn much. I usually drink Whiskies straight no mixer.findboozenow wrote:I have friends who mix Ginger Ale with Jameson, but what else can Ginger ale mix good with the only thing I knew of for certain was Crown Royal.

Agreed. I would also suggest Boru. Good price point and I believe it's charcoal filtered to boot.Mayhem wrote:First, let me say LIGHTWEIGHT GET YOURSELF A REAL DRINK!!!!!!!!!!
