It's alright, it's not knocking anybody over taste-wise. It's lighter than Beam Black and has a small bite to it. It's like Beam Black's brother that just got out the joint.

I might give it a go, but bourbon is very expensive where I am, so I'm not sure if I'll bother if it's fairly ordinary

I've tried it. Pretty pedestrian for all the hype. I had a drop or two at a tasting of Beam products. I left with a bottle of Basil if that tells you anything.

No way man it's better than that shit, but it's still just average. I still had to try it when it came out, I mean I like the idea of tapping the barrel for that extra stuff that soaked into the wood. But it was still just O.K.
