Re: Do You Remember Your First Drink?
From what I can remember, being 11 or 12, my first was like Spaulding in "Caddyshack" snagging whatever was leftover from peoples table at a wedding. Mostly warm, back washed light beer and cheap wine.

Re: Do You Remember Your First Drink?
I only have vague recollections, but my parents tell me that when I was about 2-4, there was a drink out called "Hooch" that was a sort of citrusy type malt beverage (any older gentlemen remember it?). They told me that if somebody set one down anywhere in the house, it was mine and I would try downing it right there on the spot. If it was on a low shelf in the fridge, I'd go for it. I still have a VERY vague memory of the flavor, and it was awesome, in my young mind.

Re: Do You Remember Your First Drink?
Always had a sip/gulps from my Dad's Rum & Coke at his behest (I was probably about 4 yrs old at the time when this started) I remember it being very amusing to my Dad & his pals. (God bless those WWII vets). I drank from his cup for many a year though I remember this being frowned upon as I became a teenager.

It's kind of like this. At the end of Skype, when fart noises erupt.

Yeah, I can clearly remember that time when I drunk first time. The brand was "Black" and some of friends were there.

As someone else who can't remember my first drink, I find this thread highly offensive. OVER THE LINE.

Sips of dad's beer @5yo. By age 7, I was allowed one 12oz beer on Saturdays. Had my first dad-sanctioned shot of whiskey @9yo (did NOT enjoy it). By 15, I was hooked on cheap red wine.

Olympia lager beer, from Olympia, Washington, on a hot summer day coming out of the swimming pool next to where my Dad was sitting and poached a swig from his can. It was all icy cold bubbly and crisp on the throat. I took off and played all day!
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

My parents made pickled fish from northern pike, a fish we have in abundance in northern Minnesota. My first drink was a sip of the harsh, white wine my mother used to pickle the fish. She thought it would dissuade me from drinking and, she was right!
