After Brady's, we had a few drinks at Seabright Social, then walked back to town and stopped for a quick drink at Coasters bar. Then one more stop at Asti.

Funny thing about Coasters. It has great reviews. And it's a shitty bar.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a drunk man tortilla chips, Velveeta and a hair dryer and he has nachos.

So, were there a lot of folks out and about or were you in a ghost town? Did you walk in on empty bars?

Most of the bars only had about two or three other customers. For Santa Cruz, it was pretty quiet. It's a college town (UCSC) but we didn't see any kids at all.

Empty bars? Nice! Perhaps it was because you guys went during spring break while the co-eds were infiltrating the beaches of Florida? That's a pretty good strategy actually.

Empty bars in college towns near Spring break. These are the end times!
