Anyone truly interested, should read Oggar's Post on the subject

Here is a personal view on blackouts, by a prominent journalist.

"men wake up in jail cells and women wake up in strangers’ beds."

This triggers bad memories.

The rest of this: Yea, apparently not everybody blacks out. I don't understand that. I've absolutely never understood those people that can go to a bar, party, or sit at home drinking, and have a few drinks. Once I start drinking, I don't stop until bedtime. How in the hell does somebody stop their intake? It seems so unnatural to me.

Pacing, all about pacing. My whole philosophy for recreational drinking (so, 90-95% of it) is "Always drinking, never drunk," in that you keep a buzz on, but just kinda ride it out--like a river, not a waterfall. Never have to stop drinking, never have to wake up in a jail cell with a stranger in your bed.

All that to say, went out for a Midsummer Rumspringa couple days ago. Woke up on some couch to my wife shaking me, telling me we were going to miss the ferry back to the harbor. You know, which is a good thing she woke up, but don't remember leaving the harbor.

Or how I eneded up in some rich Swedish kid's dacha.

Or that I had drank most of a $55 bottle of Aquavit on a dare, and that they were then pissed when I had done it, because they didn't think I would, and for God's sake, wake up, we're going to miss the fucking ferry, I'll tell you about it on the way, upupup.

Wow long read, maybe I`ll find the time for it tomorrow. But the first paragraphs got me thinking: Walking in high heels and being drunk? Impossible! Or a LOT of practice.

I've never been able to find heels in my size so I suppose I'll never know

I'd love a set of heels. I love wearing them. It's not sexual, I'm just curious and odd

Oddly sexually curious. And yeah, the ladies have it tough with those things. Ankle breakers in my experience, but I'm rather tall.

This one time I was out drinking with a couple friends and I got way too drunk... then I shared a joint with some guys outside... I don't remember what happened after that, but then I vaguely remember being almost completely incapacitated as my friend was driving me home, then stumbling my way to my front door. Then I woke up laying partially on the couch with the front door wide open. My friend couldn't believe how fucked up I got, and he thought it was awesome haha
