I had a drink (read: unknowingly sat next to, and awkwardly shook hands) with Louie Anderson at the Excaliber in Vegas before a show, and he actually called me up on stage halfway through his act.

John Doe and Exene at a bar in the early '90s; I wasn't into X then but they'd just played a show; someone said to me as I was leaving, "Do you like X? They're right over there!" I had just seen Doe in EL SALVADOR recently, so I went over and stood next to them for awhile as they chatter with others, totally normal folks. Doe is indeed the punk-rock Harrison Ford - what a handsome motherfucker!
