Milwaukee
Onapa Brewery Pub should be a stop for any Drunkard while in Milwaukee. And that's saying a lot, Milwaukee has a great dive bar on every block. But Onopa isn't a dive. It's pretty big inside, has a stage that features a lot of different types of music, punk, bluegrass, just a lot of old timy gritty stuff. They make their own beer, which is not always that good. I guess it depends on the batch. But they also sell beer from other local brewpubs and microbeers. And everything is cheap. During their extended Happy Hour it gets cheaper. Punks hang out there a lot, drinking the dollar Burghoff, which is not bad at all for cheap beer, and Pabst Blue Ribbon, which is bad for cheap beer. The bartenders are punks, but very courteous and friendly punks. There's a living room type area with couches and easy chairs. It's just really a great place to hang out with cool people, cheap and good beer, and listen to great live music. It's on Center Street, (I forget the cross street) in the Riverwest part of town. If your going, let me know.

There was another tavern I went to a couple of times with Mike Beer City years ago, can't remember the name, but a punky milwaukee bar. This information is rather pointless. Sorry. If I ever pass through, I'd look this Onapa joint up though. Considering the Turbonegro gig...

Turbonegro
I checked out their website. Looks interesting to say the least. Are you coming down for it? If you are, let me know, we can get together and toast the auld gods, apparently an appropriate theme of this group.

Hmmm. So this is a punky type place? I think I may check this out after I get off of work today. Btw, it's on 735 E. Center Street. If you like a darker type of Atmosphere, have you ever been to Club Anything on 5th and National? That's my favorite bar to hang out at.

"Someone" is who I used to go there with...
I don't believe that "someone" goes anywhere anymore, unless you consider crazy as somewhere.

^^^ I think brandy is somewhat of a Northern Middle thing. I know blackberry brandy is popular in Minnesota.
