Sixty Ate Bar & Kitchen, Clydebank

Post by Paninaro »

My new favourite bar locally is this modern lounge / restaurant. Has a nice cocktail menu, several beers on tap (not just the usual Scottish domestic stuff), good food and regular DJ's and entertainment. Doesn't show sports which I'd usually consider a bad thing, but since the bars who do show football locally can attract a rough crowd, I therefore consider it a positive in this rarified instance. A friend works there too, so stopping by for a pint usually can involve a free or at least discounted drink or drinks. In a big town full of crap pubs, this one sticks out a mile as being clean, welcoming and not populated by the worst of the local society. Recommended.

Good, not showing sports when everyone else does is sometimes a sight of relief.

Btw anyone watching the Olympics?

Ha, I know, me neither
