I bought my Oz Lotto ticket. My chances of winning the division one jackpot of $40,000,000 is 1 in 45,379,620. If I win more than $1,000, I’ll get a plane ticket and see youse all there. Looking at past results, I’ll need a division three. Odds 1 in 180,078 which will net me a few grand. Draw is in 25 minutes. Fingers crossed!

The 4 Mile and the Decatur

Both have good Yelp reviews and judging from the picture are some good old school no bullshit dives. Strip mall dives.

The Island Bar.

We always talk about heading for the Island so now we fucking can.

It also boasts no beer over $4.50 and darts. So if you have darts bring 'em in your checked luggage. I sure am. Also open 24 hours.

The Huntridge tavern

Open 24 hours and Bourdain stopped there for his Vegas show as well as the Double Down. It never made the show but it was worth a shot for him it should be for us.

Dino's is billed as the last neighbor hood bar in Vegas. I have to hit this one before gentrification destroys it.

I also just looked at the distance from the DD to our hotel. 15 minute walk maybe a 30 minute stumble. That may be my headquarters.

I was planning a clandestine appearance but I forgot that this week my Parents celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. Since I am their oldest spawn, it is incumbent upon me to attend the festivities. Plus, I don't relish stumbling around drunk in 110 F heat. I get that here in TX.

So maybe post pictures. If you can skype, that would be cool. I'll be lakeside. And I feel that is ok.
