The fictional character Detective Chief Inspector Morse, created by writer Colin Dexter, among other traits DCI Morse is a member of the Campaign for Real Ale, a real organization in the UK, they push for the preservation of traditional British pubs, and more to the point, cask conditioned beer and ale.
