Hey guys, I got a REAL pickle here...

Heres a song with the joys of alcohol involved within, and yet I can't seem to figure out the dang name of it...

In fact; the video is all about trying to find the name of this song, if ANY of you know it I would totally appreciate it if you informed me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixbdbI-w4pQ

The lyrics I could pick out are:

I drink all night long
and nothins gone wrong

I take my step and stride
I'm and drinkers pride (maybe)

(something incohearant)
we're gunna have a party till the brink of night...

dodo dodo do do

and so forth...its hard to grasp all of it but if I could figure it out what bloody song it is, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Against me:Thrash unreal.
If she wants to dance and drink all night well there’s no one that can stop her.
She’s going til the house lights come up or her stomach spills onto the floor.
This night is gunna to end when we’re damn well ready for it to be over.
Worked all week long now the music is playing on our time.
Yeah we do what we do to get by, and then we need a release.

Against me:Pints Of Guinness Make You Strong.
And just like james, I'll be drinking irish tonight
and the memory of his last work week wil be gone forever
Evelyn I'm not coming home tonight!
If we're never together
If I'm never back again
Well I swear to God that I'll love you forever
Evelyn I'm not coming home tonight!
If I put that I really like the writings of Joseph Campbell here, and that my favorite quote by him is...Follow your bliss, will it be where I want it?

Please tell me why we couldn't stay
Don't let this feeling ever go away
Let this memory forever be inside of me
Through every hour of every day
It's with the company of these friends
That we drove on through the night
We were carried by the wheels of armageddon

We're gonna force ourselves to live
Thankful it's hurt more than we've ever felt
It's just our means to an end

Please tell me why we couldn't stay
Don't let this feeling ever go away
Let this memory forever be inside of me
Through every hour of every day
It's with the company of these friends
That we drove on through the night
We were carried by the wheels of armageddon

And honestly we were armed with our best intentions
Maybe those intentions alone
are just enough to get us anywhere but here
In the middle of America
Six cylinders will take us further than any president
The same promises that we forgot the last time
There's no difference between staying and a bullet in the head

So fucking tell me why we couldn't stay
Don't let this feeling ever go away
Let this memory forever be inside of me
Through every hour of every day
It's with the company of these friends
That we drove on through the night
We were carried by the wheels of armageddon

Maybe it's gonna come from the radio
Or the next 8 hour day
Driving to the next town
A collect call home to your best friend
We are the company we keep
We could live off of dumpsters if we have to
Sell our blood by the pint to make rent
This kind of dignity doesn't come easy
But you'll never find it for sale

And that's why we couldn't stay
But never let that feeling ever go away
Kept to memory, inside of us
Through every hour, through every day
Until we die
It's with the company of those friends
We drove on through the night
Behind the wheels of armageddon

Well. I've already posted this, but this is the single greatest Christmas boozing lyric in all the history of man. Gehennah - Sathana Claus:

Christmas is here again filled with hope
The time of year to use the soap
A little boychild runs to open the door
But it leaves Him bleeding on the floor

Cause Father Christmas full of grace
Kicks the door into his face
It breaks his nose with the loudest sound
Yeah, father Christmas has come to town

Santa is drunk, Santa is out of control
Santa is drunk, Santa is out on parole

He doesn't care about christmas lists
And snotty children makes Him pissed
His only interest is drinking beerHe won't get undrunk, not this year

Santa is drunk, Santa is out of control
Santa is drunk, Santa is out on parole

Beware of Sathana Claus...Look out for Sathana Claus...

Look out!!!!!

(Chemical warfare against the soap/Stringburner)

With the whiskeybottle in His hand
He takes a bite from the family ham
He doesn't notice or doesn't care
And starts to shit in His underwear

The hairy legs turn to brown
His trousers changes shape
He laughs the family in the face
Cause he is not ashamed

Santa is drunk, Santa is out of control
Santa is drunk, Santa has jumped the parole

Christmas is over but not the booze
Don't care about jail, He's on the loose
Rudolf the reindeer has been shot
And virgin Mary was raped, that slut!

Take your time to heal your bones
You are a nervous wreck
But Santa knows where all of you live
And next year He'll be back!!!
"The best drink of the day, was the drink he had in his head before the first drink of the day."

Neon shines through smoky eyes tonight
It's 2 am
I'm drunk again
It's heavy on my mind
I'll miss you, pallie.

Monday Morning - The tossers

I sit alone
I drink alone
I was born alone
I'll die alone
I dream alone
I heal alone
I exist alone
And maybe now that's a lot of alone to put up with

But I like drinking on a Monday mornin'
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday too
Friday, Saturday, Sunday mornin'
Monday morning start anew

Well I been mistreated so my damaged self image
Is what I learned when I believed that what was said was true
Try harder, ya punk, you're an idle underachiever
Maybe so but I'll spite you now I've somethin' to prove
I've taken every behavior and identity on
Because I surely learned to be ashamed of my own
But aggression's not conflict resolution
Even though family, government, society and wrestling tell ya so

Well there's life outside school and your parents garden
So let go of how you learned your defences that way
It's probably you who's being selfish
No one has to stay with you when that's what you say
You take your anxieties out on other people
When you feel their behavior isn't true to you
And chemically on yourself when your damaged self image
Adheres to MacGowan's philosophy and other men's truths

Learning to let go of ideals and other people should be a virtue
Instead of torturing other for life
Never learning, never open, 'cause you've all these conclusions
Just 'cause it didn't work for your parents
No need to force it to work with your wife
Well no one can make me happy or see my side
Cause the anxiety's internal that makes us sad
So reassess addiction to chemicals and chronic wankin'
Well if that's what makes me happy then I've always been sad
"That's only a problem if you stop drinking"

"Nationality? I'm a drunkard, and that makes me a man of the world"

"The word "pub" should never need to be followed by the word "why""

Screwball's a jerkface
He's a Drunkard disgrace
He can't hold his liquors
He pees in his knickers
He'll only drink one
After that he's done
Even that lightweight Casino
Can handle more vino
I'll miss you, pallie.

May you go marching in three measure time
Dressed up as asses, drunk to the nines
Swing from the rafters
Shouting those songs
Gone unsung for far too long
Drink to the dead all you still alive
We shall join them in good time
Clutch-"Drink to the Dead"
if there's a lot on your mind it's there to help you forget,
To relax and rewind and leave behind the regret,
First sip makes you well before you know it it's time,
And you're saying to hell with the salt, lemon and lime,
Salt, lemon and lime, time, Tequila,
That's the curse of Tequila.
Terrorvision-Tequila

From Bertold Brecht and Kurt Weill's Alabama Song:

Well, show me the way
To the next whisky bar
Oh, don't ask why
Oh, don't ask why

Show me the way
To the next whisky bar
Oh, don't ask why
Oh, don't ask why

For if we don't find
The next whisky bar
I tell you we must die
I tell you we must die
I tell you, I tell you
I tell you we must die

the Pogues,

Whiskey, You're the Devil

Now brave boys we're on the march
Off to Portugal and Spain
Drums a-beating, banners a-waving
The devil a-home will come tonight
La, fare thee well
With me tither-y-eye dum dah
Me tither-y-eye dum da
Me right fol tur-a ladee oh, there's whiskey in the jar

Hey, whiskey you’re the devil
You’re leading me astray
O'er hills and mountains
Into Amerikay
Your sweetness from the bleachner
You're spunkier than tea,
Ah, whiskey you're me darlin’, drunk or undrunk

The French are fighting boldly
Men are dying hot and coldly
Give every man his flash, gunpowder
His firelock on his shoulder
La, fare thee well
With me tither-y-eye dum dah
Me tither-y-eye dum da
Me right fol tur-a ladee oh, there's whiskey in the jar

Says the mother, "Do not wrong me
Don't take me daughter from me
For if you do, I will torment you
And after death me ghost will haunt you"
We're off, fare thee well
With me tither-y-eye dum dah
Me tither-y-eye dum da
Me right fol tur-a ladee oh, there's whiskey in the jar

The Irish Rovers, Wasn't that a Party

Could've been the whiskey
Might've been the gin
Could've been the three or four six-packs,
I don't know, but look at the mess I'm in
My head is like a football
I think I'm going to die
Tell me, me oh, me oh my
Wasn't that a party

Someone took a grapefruit
Wore it like a hat
I saw someone under my kitchen table
Talking to my old tom cat
They were talking about hockey
The cat was talking back
Long about then every-thing went black
Wasn't that a party

I'm sure it's just my memory
Playing tricks on me
But I think I saw my buddy
Cutting down my neighbour's tree

Could've been the whiskey
Might've been the gin
Could've been the three or four six-packs,
I don't know, but look at the mess I'm in
My head is like a football
I think I'm going to die
Tell me, me oh, me oh my
Wasn't that a party

Billy, Joe and Tommy
Well they went a little far
They were sittin' in my back yard, blowing on a sireen
From somebody's police car

So you see, Your Honour
It was all in fun
The little bitty track meet down on main street
Was just to see if the cops could run
Well they run us in to see you
In an alcoholic haze
I sure can use those thirty days
To re-cover from the party

Could've been the whiskey
Might've been the gin
Could've been the three or four six-packs,
I don't know, but look at the mess I'm in
My head is like a football
I think I'm going to die
Tell me, me oh, me oh my
Wasn't that a party

Oh I forgot my favourite drinking quote, the chorus from one of my all-time favourite tunes:
Only way I'm going out, is we get so fucking drunk
That I will not know myself, so I will not give a fuck
