I came to remember an interview with a spokesman for Muslim protesters here in Norway a few months back, due to the printing of some new cartoons. I don't know where they got this sucker from but I'm surprised they couldn't find some other guy to interview. Eventually the reporter popped the inevitable question: "What about freedom of speech?" The Muslim spokesman fiddled his beard and said:
"What if I drew a cartoon where I called your mother and your sister and your daughter whores? Would THAT be freedom of speech?"
"Yes!" The reporter replied.
"No, no, no, that's an insult!"
"It's freedom of speech!"

Then he proceeded to talk about how Islam was all about peace and mutual respect, because they wanted everybody to join in their religion.
So according to this nut, at least, peace and tolerance must be achieved by extinguishing contesting creeds. I laughed hard.
