I really get this too.
I always had fun playing in Wichita (usually the Cotillion Ballroom on West Kellog), and the music fans there are great, but I don't know if I could live there...it seems like the kinda place where you can spin your wheels indefinitely and never move an inch. Kinda like Tulsa OK...
