GZA killed 50 Cent on his latest album. I forget the name of the song, but GZA tore him a new one.

50 Cent has been beefing with the Wu Tang Clan for a while now. I understand it to have started when he approached either Raekwon or Ghostface in a club and was like "Hey, I'm a rapper, too," and they blew him off.

Then recently (year or two ago) he went on in a magazine about how the Wu is supposed to be the pinnacle of lyricists, but they can't hold a candle to him in sales anymore, and how the Wu is dead.

Well, what did KRS say?

The WU dissed him way before he was famous, too. On "One Blood" from 2000's "The W" Masta Killa says "Shoot a hole in a 50 Cent piece to test my aim/how dare you call the gods in vain".
And also on Supreme Clientele, on the outro track "Clyde Smith", Raekwon, with his voice altered, disses the shit out of 50.
50 hasn't made anything worth listening to since "Get Rich" and even that was not the best album. A few decent singles and tons of filler. I liked his early mixtapes and "How to Rob" was a funny ass song at the time. But since then, he's gone on to pretty much embody the fake thug stereotype. He goes around with 20 bodyguards everywhere he goes and lives in Connecticut. Fuck him.

Yeah, that's because he was getting mixtape buzz off of the one song he did after they dissed him in the club. I love that clip on Supreme Clientele, which, by the way, is one of the greatest rap albums of all time.

And every so often 50 Cent releases a good song on a mixtape. Mostly because Whoo Kid will revive great beats from old classics. On the G-Unit Radio Vol. 23 (I think) mixtape, he did Dead Prez "Hip hop" riding on Puff Daddy, which was hilarious, and that song and beat is great. I love Dead Prez, even though they don't like me very much. Also on that same mixtape, 50 raps over "I Gotcha Open" Boot Camp Clik, baby. Duck Down all day every day

After all, that KRS quote I cited earlier is from the Diamond D-AG joint "Drop It Heavy"

Diamond D's first album "Stunts Blunts and Hip Hop" is such a slept on gem. And everything Finesse ever did is ridiculously dope.

Wow. Some fucked up shit going on. Apparently Guru's agent is his health care proxy and won't tell his family what's going on or let them see him.
