Why am I still at work?

Post by Frankennietzsche »

I just did a search of the whole library. There is myself, a research librarian, a student worker, and no one else.

That hour will fly by. And just think, anxious bottles awaiting your return or capture. Some are probably sweating right now with anticipation. Seperation makes the heart grow fonder.

alright librarians, i need your advice. tomorrow i go out to sea for about a week. despite the ads, its not really an adventure, in fact its really intolerably boring. what are some good books i could find at the barnes and nobles down the street to entertain me for a week. usually i go through a book ev ery other day out to sea, so i will need about 3 or four. thank you.

Starship Troopers - Heinlein. (Also, if you haven't yet, Stranger in a Strange Land)

Confederates in the Attic - nonfiction, can't remember who wrote it.

Clockwork Orange, because everyone should eventually
stop thinking start drinking

starship troopers... i saw the movie and can't say i didn't throw up.

confedrates in the attic sounds interesting, i'll try it if they got it.

clockwork orange..... i own the movie. great flick, didn't know it was a book. books are usually better than the movie so i'll try that also.

Well, now adays all I read is assignments and history books. The last normal book i read was confederacy of dunces and I loved that. Right now I'm trying to read a book called "unholy alliance" about occultism in the third reich. It's creepy as hell.
