Favourite Radio Stations

Post by tomodon »

I'm gutted that BBC 6 Music might soon be axed because of budget cuts so wondered what you Drunkards listened to on the wireless on a day-to-day basis. That station was my favourite in the UK but in Ireland I liked RTE 2XM on digital radio. In Canada, The Peak Vancouver was pretty good.

KSLX classic rock, or KCRW, mostly alternative, they pop out with surprising stuff once in a while, played 4 in a row from the Charlatans UK on a drive from LA a few days ago.

The only local radio stations I listen to are all from other towns, Because Wichita, Kansas has to be THE WORST FUCKING RADIO MARKET ON THE PLANET.

I do quite like KBCO out of Boulder, especially on Sunday mornings. Good puttering around, making-breakfast music.

Thank You!

Even though I listen to Metal and old Country, this will be cool.

Nova: strange music and everlasting standards
Europe2: mainly pop from the eighties up to now
And a bunch of alternative rock student's radios.
