ABSOLUTELY! I've never had the pleasure to try it but oh yes it's right up my alley. I did have a salmon Wellington once at an Irish bar. It was pretty good.

My sentiments exactly. I have a friend who of course does the St. Pat's tradition of making it and she does a pretty good job at it and I will eat it and not feel obligated. It's just something I can live without. Let's just say if it was on the menu, it would never be anything I would ever order in a million years.

Actually the soup sounds pretty good. And the joke is on me because I recently saw at the store those pouches of Madras lentils and I remember really liking those back in the States with some naan bread or tortilla chips and raw jalapeños. I like the seasonings and the consistency of them mixed with the beans rather than those plain and dry lentils straight out of the bag. Those I do not care for as I find them bland much like the tofu discussion we previously had. Maybe hatred towards lentils is a bit extreme...thank you for re-opening my eyes, Nausferatu!
