I cannot think of any bars around here that sell candy, besides like gums and breath mints. And Tums.

Ya know,
if one soaks their beans overnight in non-chlorinated water, then an interesting thing occurs.
Them dried beans change their chemistry, their construction.
You see, they awaken.
This was how we Injuns preserved the Three Sistahs.
Beans, maize, and gourds.
Plant them next to each other.
Maize has the tall stalks to give rise to them creeper vines of them beans, and squash has the pricklies on their own vines to keep animals away.
Dry is good: but only when one is not speaking of the enjoyemtn of lovely Miss Ethyl.
Dried beans in pure water will being to germinate.
Before these little protein pills begin to sprout, slow cook them in molasses (and thank ye gawds for that maginifficent ingredient for the Almighty RUM).
Properly soaked beans will not induce the blatty and flatuleScent winds.
True, fromm an honest Injun.
