WWII vet, something like 15 time all-star, great quotes, and a cartoon character after him.
Cheers, RIP, much respect.

RIP, Mr. Berra, indeed.

Let's do this thread up MDM style, cool?

He really did once say: "I never said most of the things I said."

In tribute, and in MDM honor to this great, humble man, let's have some fun. He'd possibly truly kind of like this.

"You better pour that bottle into four tallboys because I'm not thirsty enough to drink six."

I can't find the Yogi thread I started before the great crash. He was a legend of a man and will be missed.

My Father Passed Away Last Week

Post by BeerMakesMeSmart »

He went quickly. He had a brain aneurysm that burst.

All I ask is your thoughts.
I'll miss you, pallie.

Lot of death in me own Tribe this year. Here's a glass raised high in the honor of your father. My own thought that you've requested form each of us is this, young man:

We try to live as we wish, and we always hope for the better for us all and each, and those we impact during our short time on this tiny blue marble, but the best thing of all is that there will be drinks in the afterlife.

Why else would DRINK! exist here?

Now do us proud and enjoy what little time remains here for the rest of us. It's a marvelous 40 or 50 or 60 or 70 or 80 or 90 year vacation in the whole of eternity. A grain of sand on the beach.

Enjoy the heck out this short time as best you can.
