Perhaps a squeeze of lemon/lime for your preference.

I use to buy a juice in New Zealand called Fresh-Up. The best flavour was Apple & Lime. I would mix it with Plymouth Gin and the family was none the wiser. I've attempted to recreate it and though not exactly the same, still lovely. Half apple juice, half lime and Navy Strength gin. Enjoy.
