Old time tales and/or lies

Post by booznik »

Senior members:

What are your true boozy tales, tall tales, general fabrications, or the unvarnished truth from the old days? I'm looking forward to this.

I would be remiss if I didn't credit Palinka for regaling me with some true stories from Con 1 that shouldn't be lost to history. Hopefully one day soon, that historical archive will be published in full.

Well, I'll start things off by saying I'm not drunk.

That's a true lie.

I've witnessed a lawyer "present" and I ain't being a witness ever again. Lawyers are gross.

Even when they are your own

You should have consulted a lawyer...would have saved a lot of money and a leg.

The best part about forgetting you told the truth is that it never happened.

Hence, nothing to remember.

What were we talking about again?

Well, hell, Con 1 ? I got roofied and lost my glasses, Palink got hitched, and some other stuff I forget. (A lot of stuff I forget) And let us not forget that epic speech by Plumber, about the drunk monkeys. Good times, yeah.

Best story ever, was either the "onion in the pocket" episode from Combat Rock or the Massive Drunk story wherein our unlikely hero was indisposed in the water closet when the cops mistakenly raided his apartment.

Franken, you just referenced two of my fave stories of all times, but do you realize how old those stories are? We have been here too long, perhaps?
