^ ^ ^ Similarly-ish we had oett's homemade schnitzel and mash with mushroom gravy. Twas a satisfying gut punch.

Marinated Cajun spiced pork ribs, spicy baked beans, and a creamy, cheddary, cream cheesy corn casserole with green chilies. Crazy good.

Re: "What are you eating - Thread"
So, every week I go shopping at the local high end grocery store when it's senior discount day and get 10% off your entire bill. What a deal. So they have an in house smoker and prep smoked brisket in small individual sized boxes all sliced up very neatly. It's incredible stuff smoked for 16hrs. So, today I rewarmed the package I bought slowly under low heat and all the fat melted. BBQ sauce topping!
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

The crust looks spectacular though it gives no clue as to what might lie inside, and I am far too lazy to look it up so I’m going to assume you stuffed it with Gravy Train dog food or possibly gov’t. pork.

I ate it before knowing what it was.

As you can imagine, I was disappointed that there were no Dutch children used in this dish.

Re: "What are you eating - Thread" SPAM!
I know exactly what that is. And it looks amazeballs, good job. What did you do with it? Butter or berries or what? The possibilities are endless.

BRIAN!'s girlfriend made it for us. She's an amazing cook. This one was plain, but she seved it with sides of strawberries, maple syrup, preserves, cinnamon, and other stuff. So fucking good!Artful Drunktective wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 3:55 amI know exactly what that is. And it looks amazeballs, good job. What did you do with it? Butter or berries or what? Butter, a lemons squeeze and powdered sugar all stirred together on a Dutch Baby is bliss.

True fact: if you hit up Micky-D's on Saipan and order a burger, you have to specify beef, or it will be made with SPAM

That is interesting. In Hawaii, SPAM is served in the "Big Breakfast" along with Portuguese sausage (not a fan) and rice. I have to say I really am a fan of SPAM as well if it's done up right. I saved a few slices from the skewers and made a fried SPAM fried egg "McMuffin" (because it was on an English muffin) for oett for breakfast yesterday. I thought he might appreciate it after drinkin' all night.Merchant Seaman wrote: ↑Sun Jun 20, 2021 2:36 pmSPAM is goodArtful Drunktective wrote: ↑Sun Jun 20, 2021 1:48 amTeriyaki marinated pineapple and SPAM skewers (pre-BBQ grill).
