Damn you Sarah McG and your depressing and guilt-instilling commercials. Those animals are trained actors with those sad eyes to get you to donate. Our dog could totally pull it off legit.

oett isn't thrilled about it but he does it anyway. He doesn't want to clean up his own litterbox.scream ale wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 5:11 pmHow excited would you be to go outside to take a dump in February?

Friday! And an hour past my bedtime. I hate going into the bedroom and stepping over the bloodstain I couldn't get out.

I really can't figure out what this means, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you won't be mentioning Grumpy again. Ever.

Cold water for bloodstains. Nothing to be done about the brainstains, though — those are permanent.

Why?
Why? Is the character Lucky Strikes still on this board? Yes, I believed that she was a real person, Before Porrick (phonetical spelling) died he told me she was a construct of some people on the board at the time. I really thought she sounded like a fun and interesting person, and I looked forward to meeting her in Las Vegas. Boy, was I dumb. No such person existed. Apparently, some nasty people decided to string my brother along. Not good.
Of course, this is all ancient history now. It is very late, or early, and the nurse is coming in about five hours to see to me and my will not heal leg wound and then in the afternoon we get to drive in to see a doctor. My life sucks right now. So I am cranky. Hence I am awake at this ungodly hour and I am not even writing.

The spirit within us all
Only upon the mute of mind and umber of heart are you lost. I say a drinking prayer to your healing and comfort, our dear lady Savage. Porrick is with you, as are we Drunkards. You are we and we are you.
I do believe our dearly missed Mistah Willies would concur.

Re: Things we're over...enough already!
I have this friend who uses the word "drinker" in a derogatory manner when she refers to drunks and I'm kinda over it. She says things like "You know, they're a bunch of drinkers" with heavy emphasis on the drinkers. It's annoying because she has partied right along side me many a day to know my drunkardism status, not to mention I've seen her Drunk Side as well.
So I'm guessing the rationale is...because she's a social drinker that occasionally gets drunk, she is using that term to describe those who drink more often and/or more excessively than her (me). I don't know if she's ever referred me as a "drinker" in the general sense, but doubtful if she meant it disparagingly. But seriously, if it's going to be used in a negative sense, I hope she's referring to people that drink, yet one doesn't want to hang out with- like obnoxious drunks. And why "drinkers" and not "drunks"?
I guess it can go both ways. If I was invited out to a gathering of random people that were drys, I could actually hear myself saying "Oh crap they're a bunch of undrunks". You know, like Mormons.
I'd rather be referred to as a "party animal". It has a nicer ring to it. Everybody loved Spuds. Party Animal = FUN.

Our dog having doggarreah and pissarreah and then walking through it leaving brown/yellow paw prints all over the rug/couch/bed... bad enough when I do it
