No, the only frozen dinners I have anymore are Devour. Small single course meals.Artful Drunktective wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 5:11 amHot dogs n' baked beans. Apples. And cake. Complete meal for any sophisticated adult. Hugh, have you had this recently?

Doesn’t it worry anyone that this is the "improved!" version?

What do you expect for 44 cents?

That’s like $1.29 in today’s money.

Granma is like: "What does it say on the top right? Eat frozen? Alright then" "wait for how long do I have to freeze em, these have been sitting at room temperature for a whole week now"

Re: chef boyardee - WYR - NOT?
Which would be your LAST choice?
Beans and franks for me. Even though it made it's first appearance here last week, it did nothing for me. And thanks to SA pointing it out, I can't get over the prices! I'll spend the extra 45 cents for the freakin' chicken! I also like how the prices are so haphazardly stamped on the boxes. I want that job.

While I would have to be near starvation to eat any of those it's gotta be a tie between the meatloaf and the turkey dinner.

Re: chef boyardee chicken alfredo
On second thought...the chicken with beans (sans franks) with the mixed veggies might not be revolting.

The fried chicken and potatoes is all I need. Does anyone really like vegetable medleys?

Seems to be quite popular in TV dinners, mental institutions and nursing homes. Plus medley sounds better than calling vegetable shit-show. My only real experience is flinging it with a spoon.

Hungry Man was smart and chucked the veggie medley and gave us corn! Of course this box probably costs $6.00 and not 44 cents.
